X-ray-Based Techniques to Study the Nano–Bio Interface

نویسندگان

چکیده

X-ray-based analytics are routinely applied in many fields, including physics, chemistry, materials science, and engineering. The full potential of such techniques the life sciences medicine, however, has not yet been fully exploited. We highlight current upcoming advances this direction. describe different methodologies (including those performed at synchrotron light sources X-ray free-electron lasers) their potentials for application to investigate nano–bio interface. discussion is predominantly guided by asking how methods could better help understand improve nanoparticle-based drug delivery, though concepts also apply interactions general. discuss limitations they might be overcome, particularly future use vivo.

Engineering the RNA-Nanobio Interface

RNA nanotechnology is attracting a great deal of attention recently. As the multiple roles that RNA plays in molecular biology and physiological regulation become clearer, there are many opportunities for engineering RNA-Nanoparticle Complexes (RNA-NPCs). The high "engineerability" of RNA-NPCs comes from the ability to modify the RNA and NP chemistry. For example, the NP can be derived from mat...

fuzzy-based medical x-ray image classification

in this paper a novel fuzzy scheme for medical x-ray image classification is presented. in this method, any image is partitioned in to 25 overlapping subimages and then shape-texture features are extracted from shape and directional information extracted from any subimage. in the classification stage, we apply a fuzzy membership to any subimage with respect to euclidean distance between feature...
